ISO 9001 Quality Management
'Quality Management' refers to all aspects of delivery of the service required by a client. This standard looks closely at what organisations do to enhance client satisfaction and how they improve their performances continuously. It is judged and monitored on an on-going basis through surveillance audits. ISO 9001 regulations have been refined over a number of years by professionals and experts across a range of industries and sectors ensuring it is an up-to-date model which can be followed by organisations.
ISO 27001 Information Security
This accreditation focuses on establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system within an organisation. It shows an awareness of information security risks.
ISO 14001 Environmental Management
This accreditation fits within the ISO 14000 family and focuses on various aspects of environmental management. They provide companies with tools to identify and control their environmental impact and improve their carbon footprint. Each section of these accreditations focuses on a different aspect of the environment such as life cycle analysis, communication and auditing.
ICO (Information Commissioner's Office)
Information rights, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals are all focuses of this UK independent authority. The Data Protection Act 1998 requires every data controller (eg organisation) processing personal information to register with the ICO.
